Yes, you can easily check in even after our reception hours (daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Please contact us on the day of your arrival so we can email you all the important information—including a code for our key safe at the front desk. This allows you to check in flexibly, even in the evening or at night. We’ll be happy to welcome you in person at the front desk the following day.

One free parking space is available per apartment. You may drive right up to your accommodation to unload your luggage. Afterward, we ask that you park your car in the large parking lot near the front desk—this way, nature and relaxation on the grounds take center stage. There are also 4 charging stations for electric cars in the parking lot.

Bades Huk is located directly on the Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania—surrounded by dunes, a bird sanctuary and nature reserve, a marina, and a golf course. Boltenhagen and the UNESCO World Heritage city of Wismar are each about 20 minutes away.

Barbecuing with an electric grill is permitted on the private terraces and dune decks (available in some apartments). For fire safety reasons, charcoal grills are not permitted.

The resort has a small shop with everything you need for your first breakfast and a selection of items for your daily needs. Supermarkets and other stores are about a 12-minute drive away.

Dogs are very welcome at Bades Huk! All apartment types offer accommodations for guests traveling with dogs. Depending on the apartment, 1 to a maximum of 3 dogs are allowed—our reservations team will be happy to tell you how many dogs are allowed in each specific apartment. Our apartments cater to every need: 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms, accommodating 2 to 6 adults plus a toddler, ranging in size from approximately 40 m² to 140 m²—on the ground floor, upper floor, or spread over two floors. We offer select, accessible ground-floor apartments—featuring two bedrooms, a spacious living area, an open kitchen, a dining area, and a reading nook. The doors are extra wide, there is ample space to move around, and the shower can be opened with two hinged doors. Only a small threshold leads out to the dune terrace. Our ground-floor apartments with dune terraces are especially popular—here, the beach adventure begins right outside your door. A playground with a zip line, climbing structures, swings, and balance stations is nestled under shady trees facing the sea. At the front desk, we lend out toy boxes for all ages as well as children’s bicycles. There are also activities for kids at the golf course and the SUP rental shop; horseback riding and sailing lessons, as well as a water park (about a 20-minute drive), are available in the surrounding area.

Yes! Our Marina Café by the Sea & Bistro serves a hearty breakfast buffet daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Apartment guests can add breakfast to their booking at any time—please make a reservation the day before, preferably by email to cafe@badeshuk.de. The wellness center is accessible 24 hours a day to our apartment guests using the door dongle. The sauna is heated for you daily from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If you’d like to use it at other times, please let the front desk know—we’ll turn on the sauna at your requested time.

Yes, pets are welcome at the Bades Huk Resort—not just dogs, but also cats and small pets in cages. For dogs and cats, there is an additional charge of €15.00 per night per pet. During the off-season (November through March), dogs are allowed to run freely on our beach and swim anywhere in the Baltic Sea. During the peak season, dogs are not allowed on the section of beach next to the Marina Hotel, where the beach chairs are located. Just a few steps beyond that, swimming with dogs is permitted again, and from there, a very beautiful walking path leads around the headland.

The Bades Huk Resort receives a daily delivery of fresh rolls from a local bakery. Guests are welcome to place their orders at the front desk by 5:00 p.m. the day before (in person, by phone, or by email) and pick them up, already bagged, at the shop the next morning. The selection includes, among other items, Schrippen, Kornecke, spelt-honey rolls, Weltmeister rolls, rye rolls, pumpkin seed rolls, cheese rolls, croissants, and Hörnchen. Please note that the bakery does not make deliveries on January 1 or December 25.

The Bades Huk vacation resort is idyllically situated on a peninsula in Hohen Wieschendorf, right on the Baltic Sea. As you drive down the street “Zum Anleger,” a view of the sea opens up before you. The guest parking lot is on the right—at the end of it, you’ll reach the reception desk (open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Centrally located on the grounds (Building 14) is the wellness center, featuring a sauna, fitness area, and relaxation room. The beach is just a short walk away (about 100 m). The dining building is located directly on the marina’s pier: on the left is the Italian restaurant, on the right is the Marina Café am Meer & Bistro; on the upper floor are the 12 rooms of the Marina Hotel. To the left of the pier, the fine-sand beach stretches for about 8 km; to the right lies the Hohen Wieschendorf Marina. You can find a detailed map at Resort & Experience.

Yes, there are electric vehicle charging stations operated by Wirelane in the Bades Huk parking lot.

Yes, there are bike racks (some of which are permanently anchored) on the premises and in the parking lot. There is also a lockable bike storage container at the front desk where you can store and lock your bikes. Outlets for charging e-bikes are also available there. Since our resort is surrounded by a bird sanctuary and nature reserve, fireworks are prohibited here year-round.
