On October 3, the German Unity Cup will be contested on the coast of Bades Huk. Today, a tournament is taking place here that not only carries “community” in its name but also embodies it on the course. That’s exactly what the scramble format is all about: playing together, making decisions together, and achieving the best result together. In keeping with German Unity Day, this creates a day of golf that puts team spirit and togetherness at the center, set against the peaceful autumn backdrop of the Baltic Sea, nature, and open spaces. Culinary-wise, the BBQ continues the spirit of togetherness: relaxed, convivial, and for everyone.

On October 10, the successful golf season comes to a close with a season-ending tournament on the Baltic Sea coast at Bades Huk. It all feels a bit like the last big tee shot of the year. With an open format, there are no strict rules—just a relaxed end-of-season event where the focus is on having fun. One last round together over 18 holes before the course settles into the quiet of the off-season. Set against the backdrop of the Baltic Sea, the autumnal coastal landscape, and familiar fairways, it’s a day of golf that’s less about the score and more about the experience. To wrap things up, we’ll raise a glass together at the BBQ and look back on the season.

Every year, the Wismar Christmas Market invites visitors to the historic old town, which sparkles in the glow of the Advent season. From lovingly decorated stalls offering regional delicacies to handmade gifts and festive music, the market offers an enchanting experience for young and old alike. Whether it’s mulled wine or candied almonds—there’s something for everyone here. The impressive backdrop of the market square and the nostalgic carousel round out the special atmosphere and make the Wismar Christmas Market an atmospheric highlight of the Advent season.

The 30th Art Market in Wismar will take place from December 11 to 13 in the impressive St. Georgen Church. In this festive atmosphere, local and regional artists will present a variety of handmade works, including paintings, sculptures, and artisanal pieces. It’s an atmospheric gathering place for art lovers to discover unique Christmas gifts or find inspiration from creative ideas.

Experience Bades Huk in the winter evening atmosphere and join Berrit and Udo from the golf club team on a torchlight hike around the Huk.

To start things off, we’ll meet at the reception desk and get in the mood for the hike with a hot mulled wine or non-alcoholic punch. The tour then takes us across the golf course toward the ocean and along the beach back to Bades Huk. Adults will receive a fire torch for the hike, and safe electric torches are available for children (which they can continue to use afterward). Please be sure to wear warm, weatherproof clothing and appropriate footwear.

To ensure we have enough torches, mulled wine, and punch, we ask that you make a reservation in advance: mail@badeshuk.de / Participation is free for guests of the Bades Huk Beach Apartments and the Marina Hotel. Non-residents pay 4.00 EUR per person for the use of a torch.
